President Biathlon New Brunswick
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2018 Canadian Biathlon Championships, I wantto extend a warm welcome to all Canadian biathletes and coaches. 2018 is a year ofchallenges and opportunities. The road to excellence requires Canadian biathletes to pushthemselves beyond beaten paths. Canada’s Olympian biathletes will travel to the mountainsof South Korea; others will push on to the stadiums of Europe. No one path is the same. Acall goes out to biathletes across this nation, from Yellowknife to Halifax, from Iqaluit toVancouver, to meet in Charlo, New Brunswick, March 20-25, 2018. If your goal is to shineinternationally, or to build your legacy nationally, you deserve moments where skill, training, hope, success, and recognition collide.Canadian biathletes can expect beautiful scenery, great skiing conditions and warmhospitality in Eastern Canada. In the afterglow of the 2018 Winter Olympics, the IBU worldcup races, and other regional biathlon championships, the 2018 Canadian BiathlonChampionships will reunite Canadian biathletes on home ground. This is your time, this isyour place, and these are your races on to the road to becoming a Canadian biathlonchampion
